Redo: Future RP (sucky titles FTW!!)

Ursula was actually eager to have guests over. She'd put so much work into old house and had yet to have the chance to show it off... Well, she had a bit, bit it was mostly just the bedroom and it had been dark when most people were in there. That didn't matter now though! She hoped that Helen brought a few people, Ursula always felt a bit awkward around just Helen. She always got the distinct feeling she didn't want to talk to her... But if that are the case, she wouldn't have accepted the invite, right?

Damaris felt awkward going to Ursula's house. It'd been a while since they saw each other, and she was kind of hoping itd stay that way. What was she even gonna say when she got there? 'Hey I haven't seen you since high school when you were kind of leading me on'? Yeah, that'd be grreeeeat. She'd already picked up Helen on the way there, and she was antsy to ask questions, but she took a moment for her to settle down in the car

When Helen settled in, Bea almost immediately started whining. She pouted and patted the poor thing's head, but he didn't perk up. "Thanks, Mari... Sorry about this"

Weisis had stayed pretty quiet. She was not looking forward to this visit, but she was still in too much of a mood to go home... So, she'd just have to deal with it.

"Nah, it's-it's cool." She waved a hand. "..Uh, so..Byron did what?"

She sighed, "He was being absolutely perfect... until he got a phone call and left me to go joke around with whoever called. He said I wasn't important enough to let it go to message..." Well, not in so many words, but that was what Helen got from it!

"God, really?"

She nodded, "A-and it was going so well, too! He was listening to me, I was listening to him, we actually settled an argument without sex..."

She made a face. "How do you do that without getting weirded out by all that hair?"

"He trims on special occasions... and it's actually really soft and nice. He's always warm, and I'm always cold"

"Still.."

Weisis made a face... That was clearly TMI. "Can we PLEASE not talk about this?"

"I'm sorry..." Oh, god, now she missed him. Her pout only grew, and she picked up her puppy and kissed his nose. "... D'you think I was too harsh? I said a lot of really awful things."

"He did kinda leave you..I don't think so-Look, Helen, just..don't think about it for a while. Maybe it'll pass over."

"I... Basically said that I didn't think he was a fit parent for Rowan... That I agreed with her mother, and that he was an irresponsible loser." Again, she was overthinking it, but she couldn't help it. That had been what she'd met at the time.

Her eyebrows shot up. "Holy crap, really?"

She nodded, "I got carried away, and we were flinging insults... And that's why he left."

"My god, Helen.."

"Well, he said he didn't even want to try to make the marriage work! After I was ready to just leave, he turns around and says that and I... I was just so upset..."

"..oh, honey...maybe you two just need a little more time apart..? To blow off steam?"

"Maybe... But, we've been apart so long. We're so close to a divorce, and now I don't want that anymore."

Weisis still didn't know what to say. She didn't know Byron or Helen well enough to have a valid opinion.

"...Im sure everything will work out.."

She cleared her throat, growing impatient with the drive "so how muh farther to her house exactly?"

"Aaaall most there..~"
