"Hey! I was distracted! I can totally catch a frizbee when I'm paying attention, you shut your trap!" Nabi smirked a little.
"Or maybe Hiro just sucks~"

"I don't need it though!" He pouted, but started to apply sunscreen, as if it were war paint. "...You never said how I could apply it."

"I never said I was going to be here first, and I couldn't call you because my phone died" he raised a brow, looking at the Starbucks cup through the window "A coffee cup? Really Helen?"

"Well I wasn't going to throw my phone!" She continued to frown, but eventually unlocked the door and sat down like a normal person. "You need to keep your phone charged. What if there'd been an emergency like... Drusilla needed me to put sunblock on her back again?"

"dude, it's not really all that threatening when you call her an adorable pet name right after" he smirked

She laughed and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "Now we know for sure a fearsome warrior such as yourself won't get burned"

He pointed at her. "You try calling her something mean!"
Nabi looked up at him with wide eyes, await to see if he could.

Her smile broadened "just be careful building your sandcastle, don't get sand in your eyes" she leaned up and pecked his lips. (geez, shut up mom : )

"No, you're here to be a butt. =A=" Hiro grabbed the frizbee from Nabi, who stuck her tongue out at him again, and pointed at an area. "Go long, Ahmadi."

she gave him another quick kiss and then reached for her book "Okay... Love you" It seemed silly to say that when he was only going over to build a sandcastle, but Kelti still really liked to say it, almost an uncomfortable amount.

"You're a giant." he replied as he tossed the frizbee to him.

He girnned. "Love you too~" He got up, and walked over a the un-toweled part of their site, and stared at the sand. "...I just realized I have no idea what to build."

This did nothing to improve her mood, although she'd gone from glaring to pouting. "Even seeing me in a bikini isn't worth it~?" ... If you could call it a bikini. She was pretty well covered up. The most you could get was a cleavage shot that was staring you right in the face.

Hale tried her best to towel dry her hair as much as she could once she reached their set up, then quickly taking an over-sized white t-shirt and pulling it over her head. She patted it out before running her fingers through her hair in a poor attempt to make herself look more presentable (and feel less self-conscious about having been in only her swimsuit for a long period of time). Stupid Anthony, asking her with a pair of deceiving puppy dog eyes to go looking for seashells with him, only to drag her into the ocean and start attacking her with salt-water! ... She would never admit that it was fun for a while though. Said "friend" was now flirting with a couple of giggling girls who WERE playing volleyball, a bright and "charming" grin on his face. 'Honestly, someone should put the boy on a leash', she thought in amusement. She walked a bit away from her companions and settled down into the sand with a worn copy of a few Sherlock Holmes stories. Finally, it would be the relaxing trip to the beach she had wanted. She opened the book and was gone.

Nick sighed and leaned back on his hands. Usually he would have been more than happy to just sit down and enjoy the nice breeze, the sound of the water... but today he was actually starting to get bored. He frowned and looked to Chevonne. The troublesome girl had fallen asleep. He was a bit surprised that she wasn't playing in the water or spinning gracefully on the sand, looking to him with some great smirk and telling him of the exciting adventure she was surely going to have without him, how absolutely deeevastating it must be for him to stay in this boring grey world... All because he would refuse to go "exploring" with her. He began to poke her small nose to entertain himself, watching her face scrunch up under those ridiculously large glasses. He quickly grew tired of this too and decided to take a walk, he wouldn't go too far of course so that he could keep an eye on miss sleeping beauty.

Naturally, Tom missed the frisbee and it went hurtling towards some unfortunate individuals head. "Shit! Sorry!" (Tay can decide who it hits UwU )

"Build..." She thought for a moment and tried to think of something she heard him mention "The watchtower!"

"Oh she doesn't look that bad... She'd better not, at least. I bought that for her"

Nabi and Hiro's hands both simultaniously slapped across their mouths, and Nabi fliched. "Oh no!"

She placed Booga down again on the sand, and sighed as she wanted him coil up in the warmth. "..Weirdo. You stay put okay?" and she digged into her bag for her book. It wasn't fancy, and had a jacket covered in face lace like the new "romance" novels for teenagers. It was a big, fat hardcover book, with leather binding, and gold words written in cursive. The spin was ugly and held together with hot glue and tape to keep it from falling apart, the covers worn down, and the pages browning. This was her favorite book in the whole entire universe, because it was her only company asides from Booga. She also reached in and grabbed her sandwitch.

To say Hale had picked a bad time to glance up at the waves would be an understatement. She yelped in surprise at the frisbee hitting her square in the eye, immediately reaching a hand up to hold her grimacing face. "Can't you aim!!?!" She immediately grabbed the horrid object and stood, looking around for it's owner. She could already feel a black eye coming on, it was painful! Honestly, how could people be so careless?!

And Helen did so, all but jumping in Byron's arms once she was out and kissing his cheek. Drusilla, still watching from afar with another gigantic cup of coffee in her hands, didn't seem all that pleased. Here it was, supposedly her day and Helen had brought her boyfriend... Silla had at least hoped Helen would bring Damaris instead. Damaris was fun to torture talk to. Byron just distracted Helen 24/7, which meant Drusilla would have to entertain herself on her special birthday trip.

Tom held his hands up defensively "whoa, whoa, don't blame me lady, he's the one who threw it" Tom pointed to Hiro.

Byron smirked and put his arms around her to make sure she didn't fall over. "Okay, let's go make the best of this situation and hope it ends quickly."

"I... Kinda promised I'd stay all day... But you can leave whenever you feel the need"

"So long as your friend isn't too obnoxious, I'll stay" He hoped that she wouldn't hold him to that, but it seemed like the right thing to say.

"... This is Drusilla we're talking about. The one who likes to terrorize you for fun?"

"Maybe she'll get hungry and waddle after some seagulls. A guy can hope, can't he?"
