"What 'bout 'da bald one and 'da one wit 'da eye?... Neither of them are pretty enough though~"

She shoved the meal tray off to the side with her foot. She'd barely touched the food she hadn't made Salvatore eat. She closed her eyes, content, but sleepy. Everything was going to be okay now.

"You said you'd rather go paint and cry..." ;_____;

"Because you were being mean to me~ I needed to go paint pretty pictures of you to vent my frustrations~"

"What would you even paint~?"

"I never felt like they were gay, either... Just doing girly stuff for laughs"

salvatore hadnt' realized how tired he was until he'd actually laid down with Weisis. Obviously, he hadn't slept well with her in the hospital, but now that they were together and he knew she was safe, he felt more at ease than he had all week. His eyelids started to droop, and he began to relax against her.

"I said I was gonna paint you~ Weren't you listening?~ I'll make millions because who wouldn't want someone as gorgeous as you hanging on their wall?"

She rested her head against his shoulder, more than half asleep by now. She muttered something that sounded distinctly like 'I love you'.

She pouted. "You'll go broke buying paints to paint me and make no money selling~"

"I like that idea~ Do I get to wear a puffy shirt?"

He groaned, but didn't say much more. He just kissed her again and held her

..."Only if I can wear somethin' tight fitting~"

Bryce smiled a bit sheepishly "Mari... I didn't tell you cause I thought you'd be mad... But, my top selling painting is one I did of you. I got over two grand for it"

Damaris's eyes widen in surprise. "..Im sorry, Mr. O'Connor, I think I misheard you, can you repeat that?!"

"You heard me loud and clear... My only regret is the painting isn't nearly as breathtaking as the real thing"

"Oh my god..I can't believe you didn't tell me!"

"I wanted to wait for the right time... I- I wanted you to see it hanging in a gallery and- it was gonna be a surprise, but... I can't keep secrets."

"Obviously!" She smiled, and started planting kises all over his face. "I'm so happy for you~"

He couldn't help, but grin..." Does this mean you'll stop living in denial and admit you're freaking gorgeous now?"

"No, I'll always deny that, you must have somehow used your amazing painter skills to make me prettier~"

"That would be impossible, stop. Someone paid over 2 grand to have a portrait of you hanging on their wall. Stop trying to invalidate the evidence"

"They probably thought it some..I dunno, some chick that doesn't even exist." uAu

"Tight pants and a puffy shirt? And boots~?"
