Future RP Part Two: Something Bad

"I think rest would be a lot better"

"What do you know? You're not a doctor"

"You don't have to be a doctor to know that being beaten within an inch of your life does not mean 'damn, I need more exercise'!"

(*silently remembers I RPed here too*)

Mari shook her head again, trying to ignore the yelling coming from Leo's room. "Take out, then?"

"Of course it does, what do you think 'walk it off' means?!"

"No, Leo will want something gross and battered and fried, and I wanna cook it"

"It means 'I'm a piece of shit and don't care if you fall over dead'. That doesn't apply here!"

She sighed a little. "I guess I can help..any idea what he exactly wants battered and fried?"

" No no, it does. 'dat description seems pretty fitting too, I'll go wit' 'dat one."

He groaned, "Oh, Theo, stop it. No one wants you dead-no one even wants you hurt!"

"Um... I don't know. He likes mushrooms and pork... What can we even do with that?"

"I'm sure your brother wouldn't mind... Neither would Teagan... Your sister would probably praise the lord."

"Theo, we don't talk about my sister... And what did you do to Teagan?!"

"Nothin' you need to worry 'bout. I'm sure you'll 'ear 'bout it soon enough"

"Theo, please, stop this... I'm sure whatever you did, no one wants you dead"

"You said 'dat, not me... Just go 'ome Leo. I'm not gettin' in 'da car."

"Fine. Don't get in the car. I'm still gonna follow you and make sure you get back alright"

With that, Theo veered from the road and started walking towards the woods. He couldn't be followed there.

Leo sighed and looked for a place to park. He would just... Follow Theo into the woods. Like a crazy stalker.

Theo was going about as fast as his limp would take him. He honestly didn't expect Leo to get out of the car.

But, Leo did. He found a parking lot not too far away, and started after Theo once his car was locked. He couldn't run-he was too far out of shape-but he had a general idea of where Theo was heading, and just cut across to it.

Theo huffed when he caught sight of Leo. why couldn't he just let it go? "You're gonna get yourself 'urt!"

Leo was more than a little embarrassed to be breathing heavily by the time he caught up with Theo, but he wasn't going to acknowledge that. He just stopped, took a deep breath, and tried to compose himself before talking. "So... So are you!"

"Go home Leo, your brother's gonna worry 'bout you."

"He worries about me when I don't call him every day. You're badly hurt... I'm more worried about you"

"I'll be fine. It's not 'da first time I've been beaten up you know. probably not gonna be 'da last"

"I don't care, damnit! Stop being like this. Just let us help you. It's partly my fault that you're like this, anyway"
