Dilyn started getting the hint, and backed off a little, smiling sheepishly. "Well, it looks lik a really great house.."

"Thanks..." She returned the smile "I'll bet your house is great too" that seemed like a polite, nice thing to say in return, right?

Din thought about his old, broken down place, and wanted to frown, but smiled anyways. "..Yeah..yeah, it is, thanks...wanna look through the stuff now?"

The girl's obvious attempt at nonchalantly asking his name made Ken smile and he let out a small giggle before replying. "It's Mckenzie, but you can call me Ken. Now it only seems fair that you tell me yours" He said, with a smirk very much similar to hers.

She smirked. "I'm Tori... Well... Victoria, but if you call me Victoria, I'll hit you. No joke"

She went to pick up the box "Okay, just follow me~" She began to walk up the path to the front deck.

Despite her saying ' no joke', Ken couldn't help but let out a small giggle. "Nice to meet you" He smiled at her but soon smirked yet again as he said "And I promise to stick to Tori if you promise to stick to Ken". He held out his hand once more. "So, the mall?"

And Dilyn followed behind her. "I can't wait to find out what's in there~"

She awkwardly took his hand, and shook it. She didn't think about the fact she might look weird shopping in running clothes. Tori rarely thought of that sort of thing. "Sure, let's go"

"Don't get your hopes up too much, it's nothing too exciting." She sat it on the step once she reached the deck.

He sat next to it and opened the box. "That's what you thiiiink~"

"It's old vases... I think there's a framed picture of a cat dressed like a victorian lady in there somewhere!"

"Oh man, for real? I gotta see that!"

"I don't think you want to... It's frightening"

"But Victorian ladies are cool lookin'!"

Ken hadn't meant to shake her hand and had actually meant to help her up off of the bench but returned the handshake anyway. "So, where so you want to head first?" He said as he made his way out of the park and started towards the mall in town.

"Just not about dating," May agreed. "Though, the guy did give me his number in the end."

She conveniently left out the part about him giving her his mother's number because he wasn't allowed a phone. She honestly couldn't have guessed his age at a first glance.

"not when they're cats... It's creepy looking" She shook her head and scrunched up her nose.

The two continued to walk for a while, talking to one another, until they finally reached the mall. "Wow, that didn't take as long as I thought, I suppose time flies by when you're having fun, huh?" He said with a smile before holding open the door for Tori. "After you".
