Ethan was floating out on the water. Surfing was only something he'd picked up since venturing to the mainland, but he had to admit it was pretty fun. Unfortunately for him, the waves were dead today. He sighed and looked back to sure. Maybe he should just go in...

Kelti was sitting under a shady umbrella, sunscreen thick across her nose. To top the look off, she was also sporting a large, floppy hat. There was no way she was getting more freckles. She was totally prepared.

Booga wrapped himself around Murphy's ankle. She had put him down on the towel so he could frolic around on the sand, but she guessed he didn't like the heat of it, and ran straight back home. "You weird little shit..." She smirked a little, and went to pick him up so he could wrap himself back around her neck. She didn't know why she came to the beach, she didn't like being out for so long, and in the sun no less. She was glad that she had brought her sweater and a huge umbrella. "You'll keep me company, right?"

Dilyn looked over at his girlfriend while he set up their little site. "...Babe, are you going to battle with the sun?" He smirked. "We could have just stayed home if you didn't wanna be under the sun."

"God I hate this stupid swim suit.." Amber fiddled with the stings of her bikini, making sure they stayed on tight. How embarrassing would it be if they slipped off while she was in the water?!
"Relax, you look fine." Damaris couldn't talk, she wasn't even wearing a bathing suit, unless you count a long sleeve shirt and pants a bathing suit.
"I look ridiculous! Look at me, I'm practically naked!" She complained.
"No you don't. -A- Besides, I brought along an extra suit for you, so you can put that on later."

"Renee, I think you should have put on something more...unrevealing."
Renee chuckled a little as she looked up at her brother. "Seth, please. Calm down, it is not like I am the only one wearing this." She motioned to other people.
"Yes, but you are not them, are you?"
"Oh, who cares~ the sun feels nice on my skin, and I need a tan~"

"Anthony, I swear! If you splash me one more time, I'll have that big head of yours on a platter!"
Anthony threw his head back and laughed before pulling the red-head further into the water with him, arms secured firmly around her waist despite her protests. He was forced to release her after a good jab to his stomach as revenge for pulling her completely under. The dark haired boy only laughed harder as she began to splash him.
"C'mon Haley, I was only playing~!"
"Shut up and drink salt-water, you ass! This is the last time I humor you ever, you take everything overboard!"
Back on the sand, a relaxed Nick rolled his eyes at the pair. Beside him sat a petite dark-haired girl wearing a rather large pair of sunglasses and a sunhat, sipping away at a smoothie. She casually set it aside and leaned back before pulling down her sunglasses and giving the boy next to her a smirk. "Aren't you going to join in? Or are you still trying to figure out away to sneak off so that you can smoke pot and sulk? I know you value your little brooding time and don't want to share with Annie, but please resist."
Nick nearly choked on his water and turned to glare at Chevonne. "NO. I'm fine."
Her grin widened as she pushed her glasses back in place. "Mhm. Whatever you say, champ~"

Kelti shook her head "No, I wanted to come... I just wish that I didn't burn so easily. I'm going to have to reapply sunscreen every twenty minutes and stay covered up and in the shade... I might try swimming in a bit though... If I'm careful" she smiled "Do you need help setting up? I don't want you to do all the work"

Candy was lounging on the beach, getting her tan on. She thought it would help her get a gig... Tan seemed to be in with the obnoxious music video back up dancing crowd... But hey, she'd take what she could get. It didn't really even seem to phase her that she'd come to the beach alone. Wouldn't it have been rude just to invite someone and then ignore them whilst she basked in the sun? Candy thought so... Although, she likely would have ignored them regardless.

Tom squinted in determination... This was to be the perfect toss. A toss to beat all other tosses. A toss that would make history. "You Hiro! Heads up!" He let go of his frisbee with perfect stance and eagerly awaited his friend to catch it.

He shook his head. "Nah, don't worry, I got it." He opened the cooler, and settled it down under the umbrella close to Kelti's reach. "Man, I'm so gonna get my sand sculpting on, gonna make a killer as hell sand castle, yeeeeeah. It'll put Stark Tower to shame."

Murphy sighed and uncoiled Booga from her neck. She lifted him up to eye level and gave him a look. "...You don't think it was a bad idea to come on this trip, do you?" When the snake hisses at her, she scrunched her nose. "Don't you hiss at me, you little slutbutt."

"Hiro, Nabi doesn't need him to put sunscreen on her! She'll be fiiiiine!!" Nabi whined and tried to push her cousin away as he rubbed yet another layer of sunscreen on her face and arms. "Noooo, stooooooop!!"
"Nabi, please, stop fussing. You'll get burned if you don't put this on." He was about to coat another layer on her when a frizbee gracefully landed by his side. "What the-..." He looked back over at his friend, and blinked. "...Was that for me?"

May vacantly threw the beach ball she had inflated up and down as she sat on her back on a beach chair. The beach was nice, she had to admit. She'd always liked going to the beach, especially on hot days, to prevent her from lazing around the house or overheating it by trying to cook.

Still, she admitted it would be more enjoyable if she could spot one or two of her friends.

But the chair was so comfortable. She would go looking for her friends later....

With a smile on her face, she kept bouncing the ball up and down. The ball, however, bounced just a little too much and out of her grasp, flying towards an unsuspecting victim.

Helen was pointlessly miserable at the beach. On any normal occasion, she'd be enjoying the water, and having a good time. But, this was no normal occasion. This was Drusilla's birthday, and Drusilla had all but begged Helen to spend the day with her. Helen had agreed only after convincing Drusilla to let her bring a guest... A guest who had yet to show up.

At the moment, Drusilla was proudly standing with her hands on her hips, with all her flabby, be-speckled glory out there for anyone who cared to look. Helen, on the other hand, was trying to cover up. Seeing Drusilla half-naked on a beach gave her the sudden urge to cover up.

"Ellie~!" With a cackle and a smirk, Drusilla glanced over her shoulder at her 'dear friend'. "Wot ya waitin' on, dearie? 'Fraid o' getting a freckle o' somefin'?"

"Erm... That, too. I just um... Let me call one more time?" She pulled her phone out of her purse and pouted in the usual pathetically adorable way. Drusilla rolled her eyes, slumped her shoulders, and may as well have thrown a temper tantrum in response. "I'll just be a minute!"

"Oh come on, Ellie~! If 'e ain't comin', then 'e ain't comin'."

"He's coming... I think..."

Tom through his head back and howled in disappointment. "Duuude! How could you miss that? It was literally perfect!"

Byron was planning to be fashionably late to the beach. The less time he had to spend with Drusilla, the better. The only reason he was showing up at all was because he felt guilty leaving Helen with her for that long. So, finally, rather begrudgingly, he climbed out of his car and sidled towards the beach. Unfortunately, Byron's phone had died, so he was unaware Helen was even calling him.

Ced sat on the beach, cross legged. His board was laid out in front of him. There was a look of sadness across the blond boy's face. as he applied the board wax. Wally was away for three weeks. What was he supposed to do? They always hung out in the summer! He'd just have to make the best of it, ced supposed. At least he'd be able to try to surf without fear that Wally was going to drown.

She laughed and rested her head on Dilyn's shoulder. She loved when he spoke about super hero stuff because he became so dorky and adorable. "I'm sure your sand castle will be the best one here, Stark Tower or not"

Helen was in the car, trying to get ahold of Byron. Unfortunately, Drusilla was a mite bit more perceptive, and spotted the man the second he stepped onto the sand. She struck a sexy pose, one hand holding her gigantic floppy hat to her head, and the doing a dainty little wave that Drusilla often used to openly mock her friends. "Oh yoo-hoo~ Lover boy~"

"...I was putting sunscreen on Nabi, I obviously wasn't paying attention." He stood up. "Sorry I missed your "literally perfect" toss, man."
Meanwhile, Nabi stuck her toung out at her older cousin. "Nabi didn't want you to put anything on her anyways =3="

Dilyn smiled, and kissed the top of her head. "You know...the castle kinda needs a queen~"

May winced when the ball hit some random guy in the head.

"Sorry!" she exclaimed, but before she could do anything more, the guy had already angrily popped the ball with a bang. She watched glumly as it fell down on the sand, deflated.

Well, it wasn't like she'd ran out of all options for amusement, right? She was supposed to be looking for her friends.

Suddenly, she sotted the back of a figure that was oddly familiar. She approached the blond guy, trying to put a name in place.

She gingerly tapped him on the shoulder, humming. "Don't I know you?"

Byron groaned and made his way over to Drusilla. "Where's Helen? I'm not staying if she's not here. I don't care if it's your birthday"

Ced groaned and rubbed his head and then looked back over his shoulder at May, thinking for a minute "... Oh yeah! Dog park!."

"See, stop cooing over your cousin and get your game on man! C'mon!... Unless you'd rather play Nabi, I bet you'd catch it -A-"

"So long as the queen gets to sit in the shade and not get a dozen new freckles." She reached over for her sunscreen... Again. She'd only applied it about ten minutes beforehand, and still had a ridiculous amount on her nose, but it was better to be safe than sorry!

"Oh ya do~ I know ya do~ No man could resist allllll thisssss~" And she gestured to 'all that'. There was certainly a LOT of 'that', but it was of questionable quality (mainly due to sun damage). "But 'Ellie's in the truck. She been tryna call ya all the way 'ere!"

May snapped her fingers, nodding. "Right! Wally's friend, Cedric, right?" She grinned widely. "Nice seeing you around. I mean it. My brothers ditched me as soon as we got here, and it's good to see a friendly face."

She looked around on the beach, as if looking for something.

"I see you've left your family behind this time. They're not fans of the ocean?"

Hiro stuck his tongue out at Tom as Nabi grabbed the frizbee that sat next to him, and looked at it. "Tom, Nabi doesn't no how to play! D: She will play, if he teaches her!"

"I think the freckles are cute =A=" He grabbed the sunscreen bottle from her. "You just put this on like 5 minutes ago!"

"I don't know how good of a teacher I'll be considering I still haven't taught you to use the word 'I', but I'll certainly try, come on" he offered her his hand and looked over at Hiro. "You in too?"

"No! It was awhile ago... My timer hasn't gone off yet, but it doesn't hurt to be safe!" She pouted and then cocked her head to the side. "Do you have any sunscreen on, mister?"

"And you're May? yeah May! Ha didn't hit me hard enough in the head to forget" He grinned and moved his board to the side, before standing. "And Wally's left me here alone for three weeks while he goes on an extravagant family vacation, so, I'm in the same boat" He chuckled "Yeah... I'm the only one well enough behaved to venture this deep into civilization"

"Rigghht." Byron dismissed her rather rudely and began walking back towards the cars.

Alas, Drusilla followed him. She had way too much fun annoying Byron-it was almost a little bit sad. "Ya know, Ellie's pretty mad ja ain't answered ya phone, Bunyan~ Might wanna be extra nice to 'er"

"My phone's dead, it wasn't my fault. She'll understand." He continued walking towards the parking lot, picking up his pace to avoid Drusilla as if she were a mosquito.

She didn't exactly keep up, but her voice carried and that was FAR worse in some ways. "No she wooooon't~ You ain't ever gonna get laid at'his rate~"

"I is trying to get the hang of it!...Am? Is it "am" or "is"? Is Nabi saying it right?" She took a hold of his hand and pulled herself up, brushing off her cute little bathing suit .A. <3. "Nabi is sure Tom will make a good teacher. Hiro can help him! Right?" She looked over at him.
"..Uh, sure. Why not?"

"I don't need any! The sun's UV rays are powerless against me." He opened the bottle and squirted a little on his hands, only to rub it on Kelti's nose. "There."

"I'll get laid sooner than you will Drusilla, I can assure you" He looked around the parking lot and spotted the truck before walking over.

"I dunno if I want help from him" Tom smirked "He couldn't catch the frisbee afterall"

She scrunched up her face and wiped away some of the excess sunscreen. "I think that you should wear some anyway way... Just to be safe."

Drusilla scoffed and stamped her foot, but didn't attempt to follow. "I ain't so sure, ya damn dirty ape!"

Helen, on the other hand, had her knees pulled up to her stomach and her feet resting on the dashboard of Drusilla's truck. She was furiously texting Byron and her face was screwed up in the most adorable expression of frustration ever to grace an angry woman's face. Really, it was incredible how cute she was when she was when she was mad.

Once again ignoring Drusilla, Byron made his way over to the window of the truck, looking in, then he tapped on the glass to get Helen's attention. "My phone's dead!"

Helen squeaked and threw her phone when she saw someone tapping on the glass. After a mini panic attack, she looked over to see it was Byron, and she scowled. "Damnit Byron you scared me!" She grabbed the nearest thing-in this case an empty Starbucks cup-and threw it at the window. The windows were rolled down enough to let air in, but since the cup was very big and too old for lingering dregs of coffee, her attack didn't do much. Despite this, she managed to maintain the air of 'pissed-off-idness' and folded her arms over her chest. "Where have you been? I thought you were gonna be here before WE got here"
