When I Don't Remember You

(Helen was in a car crash, and suffered serious head trauma that resulted in a loss of memory among other injuries. She is only recently waking up. And, I feel like By-by should start here :I)

Byron had stepped out of the room for a moment to get another coffee. He'd barely been sleeping since the accident and currently caffeine was the only thing keeping him going. He let out a yawn and headed back into the hospital room to sit next to Helen. He'd been there every single day and every night he could since the accident had happened. When she woke up (he refused to think otherwise) he wanted to be there.
