Lychee was still trying to teach his dear much loved friend Carrot-who was for some odd reason insisting he call her 'Carrie'-all about the outside world. At the moment, they were in the supermarket, and he was trying to explain frozen burritos.

"But, why making the food only to freeze it?" Thus far, she had picked up on why food was frozen and kept cold-to preserve it-but she couldn't fathom an entire factory devoted just to making already-frozen, already-prepared food!

"Because you no longer are having to making food!" To demonstrate, he picked a TV dinner out and showed it to Carrie. "You are heating this up, yes? Then once is warm enough: dinner! It does not taste too good... But people here wasn't food fast more than good."

"Strange people,"

And he laughed, "Oh, Lychee is knowing, friend!"

Damaris sat at her windowsill, watching her grandmother drive off to visit a "friend". She'd always been leaving at this time, and she never came back until the next morning before school. Mari doesn't mind, she liked having the house to herself; she got to blast her music as loud as she'd like, have over as many people as she liked, eat all the food in the fridge if she wanted. She doesn't even have a bed time anymore! So being home alone was one of the best things in the world...until of course the old-as-bones house's light fuse went out, and her whole house went extremely dark. It hasn't happen recently, but she was still paranoid that it would still happen at any moment's notice.
She felt something paw at her leg, and she looked down. It was Dean, her Tojan helmet in his mouth, and a rather bored expression on his face. She smiled, reached down to pet him and grabbed the helmet to put on her head. "Gooooood boy. That is a very good boy."

Dilyn sat in front of the comic book store, a huge stack of them sitting next to him. He was so excited that the new issue of Deadpool had been released! He's been waiting for months for this bad boy and now it was finally his! Even better? He had saved enough to buy new merch for his collect that he proudly displayed in his closet hidden away forever where absolutely no one could find it ever in the history of ever. Ever.
Dilyn sometimes wished he had someone with him that loved comics as much as he did, because he was always so lonely. But he let it slide, since her liked being one when he read.

May strutted around the park, hands in her pockets, cringing every time the wind blew her hair into her face. It had chosen not to cooperate today, so she just pinned it here and there with some clips and hoped it wouldn't cause her trouble or frizz. It did both.

Today, she was supposed to be meeting her brother Oliver, who was visiting from LA. But as she'd had enough time to waste, she just figured she would take a stroll in the park to keep herself from baking another batch of cookies. She already had a couple packets of warm ones-- chocolate chip, but also cinnamon, her brother's favourites-- in her bag, and a lot of extras at home (she hoped her friends really craved cookies lately).

She did wonder, though, what she was doing in the park, or why she hadn't at least thought of calling someone to accompany her. At least she was having a share of fresh air, so that was a good upside.

She mindlessly continued wandering around the park, only to stop to observe a squirrel nibbling on some nuts.

It was a less than typical day for Ced. He loved his job, he really did, but it did become a little much when he accidentally double booked! Four dogs? Pfft... He could handle that no problem, but eight? eight was another story! He was being yanked in every which direction. He'd almost been tripped several times with the leashes. Unfortunately, apparently eighth time was the charm. A few of the less well behaved dogs caught site of a squirrel and began barking fiercely at it. It wasn't long before they'd managed to tangle around Ced's legs and pull him off of his feet. "Gaaah!"

The church flea market had actually been fairly successful this year. The youth group had raised nearly enough to go on their next retreat! It was only a few bake sales away. Unfortunately, Kelti had been the one to volunteer to take the extra stuff home with her, so here she was, taking a shortcut through the park, arms full of boxes. She didn't even notice when the pocket book slipped out from her grasp. She was just trying not to drop the things she was carrying

May's view of the squirrel was disturbed by... something vaguely more human. Or, more accurately, something human surrounded by eight dogs. Who even walked eight dogs? 'Probably a job', she thought to herself. 'Or a hardcore dog enthusiast.' She winced sympathetically when the dogs tangled around the guy and he fell down. Since nobody nearby seemed to want to go check up on him, she rushed to his side.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" she asked, bending down so she could be closer to his level.

Well, it didn't look like anything was broken, so that was a good start, she supposed.

Ced scrunched his face up and looked up at whoever was speaking to him... "I've been better.... Careful, don't lean down too close to that one. He'll lick your face... And you don't want that. He eats cat poo"

May scrunched up her nose and looked at the dog. "Ew!" She distanced herself from him, only slightly, and laughed, "Thanks for the warning. Need a hand?" She extended one, anyway.

Dilyn took a break from the excitement that was Deadpool, and looked up to see the park in front of him. It was big, and wide, and...very lonely, for once. Well, it was lonely, except for a small ball of orange carrying a big box. It looked like it could have been a girl...a poor stuggling girl who needed the rescue of a handsome and brave young lad!...But then Dilyn remembered how much of a whimp he was so he decided again getting up from his spot...until of course, he saw the girl drop something while she was walking. She didn't even seem to notice! He quickly got up from his seat, picking up his wagon handle (he brought it with him because his pops stole his bag) and jogged over to her. "Miss! Miss!" He called when he got to her pocketbook. "You dropped something!" He reached down to pick it up.

Ced smirked and nodded... "If you could take a couple leashes, that would be great. If I let these guys go, they'll take off on me"

Kelti struggled to look back while carrying the box... "Oh!" her eyes broadened when she saw the wallet and she smiled at Dilyn. "Oh my goodness! THANK YOU. If I'd lost the fundraiser money, I would have been in HUGE trouble!"

He smiled shyly at her. "Yeah, well I was just reading over there, and I saw you dropped your pocket book thing and well..I, you know....uh, you're welcome!" He didn't know what else to say. "I'm Dilyn!"

May carefully untangled the leashes and grabbed a strong hold of a few. "So, is this like, a job or do you actually own this many dogs?"

Ced chuckled "no, you see, these are actually my brothers and sisters. I was raised by dogs, I'll have you know" he grinned. He liked being silly, particularly in first impressions. It made he feel like less of a loser, especially when talking to women.

"Kelti" her smile broadened. "Oh! I know I'm being so rude, but I have this box and I don't think I can shake your hand!"

He's hook his head. "No, no! It's okay..mind me asking if..I could help with that? You could put it in my wagon, and I guess I can walk your way with you and stuff!"

"That would be amazing, but... I don't want to inconvenience you... Not unless you already have to walk in this direction"

"Nah, it's all good! I don't mind..I actually walk that way, too.." He moved his comics aside. "Just settle it down riiiiight there~"

Kelti did just that, thankful to be able to flex her fingers again. "So... Do you always take a wagon out with you?"

Her smile widened. "Well, then, family reunions must be really fun."

"Depends on where I'm going, honestly. Like, I bring it with me if I'm going to a store of some sort..do you always carry a box twice your size?"

She sighed. "Only when daddy won't let me use the car.... Like today. It makes me wish I had a wagon."

"Oh no, they're dreadfully embarrassing... I'm always forgetting to smell someone's butt and then they take offence! It's a mess, tears the whole family apart" he shook his head dramatically.

"Well..it's a good thing me and my wagon came along, hm?" He smiled. "Lead the way?"

"Yes, a very good thing" she smiled and began to walk ahead

"So, Kelti, right? What exactly are you doing with this box?"

"It's leftovers from the flea market my church was having at the community centre. Most of it's just old junk." (There should be like an action figure in there and she can give it to Dilyn xD)

"Yeesh, and I thought I had it bad at family reunions when I'm late finishing dinner. You honestly don't want to go and tell a family of notorious meat-eaters 'Sorry, the steak's not done yet' if you don't want stuff thrown at you," it suddenly occurred to her she hadn't introduced herself. Well, he seemed like a nice enough stranger. She smiled and extended her hand for him to shake, "I'm May, by the way. But I'm born in July, so I guess my parents had a strange sort of humour."
