It was finally the night of prom, something most girls had been waiting for, but for Weisis, such was not the case. She hadn't left her dorm all day. She'd barely gotten out of bed, except for a quick shower, hoping to make herself feel less miserable. Unfortunately, such was not the case. It was Luca's birthday and no one would even be celebrating it. Her parents were likely doing the same thing she was. She had gotten a call from them earlier that she hadn't answered. She missed him so much it hurt. He was the goofiest, sweetest kid and there was not a time she could recall when they'd seriously fought with one another.
Weisis climbed back into bed after pulling on an oversized cardigan. She'd thought it was her own to begin with, but quickly realised it was the one she'd never returned to Salvatore. She made no move to take it off however. It was a welcome comfort.

Ursula was hogging the mirror with her humongous hair. Laure couldn't see over her despite being taller than her roommate. "Could I use the mirror sometime this eternity, please?"

Ursula, who was currently curling her eyelashes, waved a hand in Laure's general direction. "Oh you look fine sweetie, you'll knock them dead." Of course, she hadn't even turned to see how she looked...

"Ursula, I still need to do my makeup! The artist I hired bailed last minute and it takes me forever to do my own....So... So move, or I'll straighten random pieces of your hair!" She grabbed the hair straightener to validate her threat.

Ursula looked up for that and instantly stepped back with a huff, pointing the eyelash curler at her "Touch me with that thing, and it'll be the last thing you do!"

Theo was lazing about on his bed, his tux looking rather subpar. He smirked, watching Teagan flitter about the room dolling himself up. "I swear you use more product in 'dat 'air of yours than all 'da girls combined

Teagan frowned "My hair is thick. It won't stay back otherwise!"

Helen was having a much easier time with her prom preparations. Manda took all of two seconds to squeeze into her dress, which broke every dress code rule possible, and didn't even bother putting on makeup (she didn't need it. She wouldn't be there long). So, she had decided to help Helen get ready, which was going rather smoothly.

"So," she smirked, twirling one of Helen's curls around her fingers to coax it in pomade. "Finally decide to give Byron a second chance?"

"No..." Helen frowned into the mirror. The more she thought about Byron, the less she wanted anything to do with him. She couldn't get over how unsupportive he'd been when she was at her most vulnerable. "Maybe I just want to look nice!"

"Look nice, smell nice, wear fancy lingerie...~"

"I do that every day, Manda"

She shrugged, "I'm just saying, it's a lot of effort for a dateless prom night."

Salvatore was still clinging to the hope that Weisis would be at prom and he could sweep her off her feet there. He didn't own a tuxedo, so simply wore a clean white dress shirt and some nice second-hand dress pants. The pants were several inches too short, and he was trying to let out the seams to add some length when he heard someone knocking at the doorframe.

He looked up to see Leo, smiling and twirling his keys. "Well don't you look spiffy!"

"Don't laugh... They didn't have anything that would fit me"

"I have to laugh. You just look so serious!" He came and sat down next to his brother, clapping him on the back and continuing to smile just as brightly as possible. "Come on... You know everything will work out eventually."

"Weisis doesn't have to take me back. She's not some whiny teenage girl in those soap operas you watch."

"First off, Degrassi isn't a soap. It's a teen drama. Second, she doesn't HAVE to... But I know she will."

"Oh, please excuse me for my most grievous error in calling your teen drama a soap..." He glanced over at his brother and raised a brow. "You aren't dressed yet?"

He shrugged. "I'm not going. I'm in the middle of a project."

"... You're going to lock yourself in the art room? All alone?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I've got the keys, so I figured why not"

"Because I won't be around if anything happens!"

"Nothing will happen, Sally. I've got the keys, I've got my phone-it's fine"

Damaris was all too nervous to sit down. She paced around in Bryce's dorm's bathroom, her face dolled up, and then hidden behind her red plastic framed glasses, and her hair done, thanks to hours of YouTube tutorials she'd looked up on her laptop (they are absolutely not 'simple and easy', by the way!). She looked at herself in the mirror, and her nose scrunched up. She wasn't wearing her dress yet, it was still hidden away in it's little plastic bag from when she bought it. She was in her underclothing though. She wondered if Ursula would want to do anything after prom, and feared for her dear life if that was the case, it was like the cosmos made her look extra fat today. She panicked even more at the thought of Ursula leaving her because of what she looked like, and called out to Bryce. "Iiiiiiii look gross. I refuse to go to prom if I look this gross! Tell me not to go. Please, beg me not to go. Tell me prom is stupid and a waste of my time and that it'd be better if we stayed here and watched movies."

"Do I look like I want to go?" He muttered. Bryce was sitting, huddled up, playing angry birds on his iPhone. He was already dressed... If you could call a tux tshirt really dressed... He was still pretty sour about this whole ordeal. Months bed been trying to work up the nerve to ask her out. months. Now she was dating the school hoebag? She'd probably end up getting herpes or something!

Finally having talked his brother out of his annoyingly protective schpeal, Leo was on his way to the art room. No one noticed or cared that he was on his way there. After all, he rarely attended school functions. He slipped inside, leaving the doors unlocked just in case a kindred spirit decided to pop in, and set to work mixing finger paints.

"Manda!"

"What? I'm just saying, you should take it just in case" Manda was currently trying to shove a condom between poor Helen's less-than-substantial breasts, and Helen was absconding the hell out of that.

"Well, don't put it there! That's like an invitation! 'Hey, I have a condom, big boy, wanna ravish me in the bathroom?' "

"That can be good sometimes~"

"Ugh!" She snatched the little plastic pouch from Manda and shoved it in her purse. "Happy?"

"... That one could break." Manda turned and went to root around on her bed, finally pulling out a long string of purple packages. "Take a few more~"

"Really? Really, Manda?"

She shrugged, "Hey, I was a girl scout. 'Be Prepared' and all that shit"

"Not exactly..." She whined. "But, you obviously do, if you're all dressed up...if a tuxedo tshirt is dressed up." She got up the nerve to take out her dress and put it on.

Tho stretched and stood up. There was only so long one could wait for Teagan, and considering that Otheo was a highly impatient individual, that was simply five minutes "AU revoir, mon petit Teagan~" he smirked and headed towards the dorm door. He'd do a bit of wandering before actually going. It was still too early for someone as lazy as Theo to attend a dance.

"I'm wearing it to piss my mom off. Let her bitch and complain after virtually forcing me to attend!" She'd even sent him money for a tux... He'd spent it on this tshirt and a substantial amount of pot.

She reached behind her and tried to zip herself, and failing flawlessly. "You can always-stupid..zipper-tell her that you went, and then not really go..." She oepened the door a little, and poked her head out. "..I could use your assistance, by the way."

Bryce had been avoiding looking at Mari until now. You don't creepily stare at the girl you like getting changed! That was just not cool! His eyes widened... Wow... He hadn't expected her to look this amazing. Not that she wasn't pretty... But he hadn't thought she'd want to dress up. He cleared his throat and walked over. His face was heating up as he reached for the zipper, brushing a piece of hair over Mari's shoulder. As soon as he'd had it up, he backed away.

She fiddled with the bit of hair over her should and turned around. "Thanks..." She looked at him for a while, before laughing. "..You look like one of those hipster kids dressed up like that."

"I do not... I'm not wearing any plaid or those stupid ass glasses." He folded his arms and then cleared his throat again. "You look... You look really pretty though."

She looked down, and her face turned red. "Thank you...do you think Ursula would like it?" Damaris never really brought up Ursula around Bryce since he always got really upset or pissy about her, but she really needed the reasurance.

His sour expression quickly returned "I dunno what she'll think..." He tried not to think like a hardcore slut. It would probably lead to brain damage.

She whined again. "You're no help.." She looked at his hair. "C'mon, let's fix that mop of yours."

He stepped away again. "No, my hair's fine. I'm not your boyfriend. I'm not gonna let you fuss over me"

Damaris blinked as she stepped forward. "What does not being my boyfriend have to do with anything? If anything, you could've said I wasn't your mother..a-and I'm being a good friend here! You're really gonna go to a prom looking like that? C'mon, let me just fix it a little!"

"Well, I happen to hate my mother, so that was a compliment. And no! My hair looks fine, don't touch it!"

She whined again. That seemed like the only thing she was good for at the moment. "Just a little? Pleeeeease?"

"No! Jesus... Just leave my hair alone." He wasn't sure if he was actually irritated about the hair, or by the fact that she was seeing Ursula. Whatever it was however, he was he'll bent on refusing.

When Manda was finally finished fiddling with Helen's hair, she stood back and folded her arms. With a smirk, she said "There. And that should hold, just in case you decide to go for a tumble-"

"Thank you," she said stiffly, already fixing her hair. Helen was just about fed up with Manda and her constant innuendos. Given recent events, they were more than a little offensive.

Sensing this, Manda pursed her lips and thought for a moment. Then she went digging through her drawers for something. All the while, Helen was nervously primping. When Manda found what she was looking for, she walked back to Helen, put a little paper bag on the desk in front of her friend, and leaned over. She pecked Helen on the cheek and motioned to the bag, "I figured I might as well... Since Byron's an asshole, and he won't be getting you one. And, your dad can't, so."

And, of course, it was a corsage. And of course Helen loved it. And, of course, she turned bright red after venting out all her excitement. God, why did Manda have to be so clingy?

Salvatore was watching the clock eagerly. Just a little over a half hour 'till he could go looking for Weisis without seeming like a creep. Find her, try to explain his feelings a bit better, and (hopefully) win her back.

Damaris stopped, and stepped back. "..Alright, sorry.."

Ursula had pushed her way back in front of the mirror and was now applying lip gloss. She was nearly ready to go find Damaris, however, she was under the impression that the two were going stag together. The two girls had been spending a lot of... quality time with each other as of late. Ever since that party a couple weeks back, they'd been messing around. This wasn't exactly something that was uncommon for Ursula however. She didn't do relationships and she legitimately thought that Mari knew that.

Laure sighed and went to sit on her bed. She'd pretty much given up trying to fight for the mirror and had made a mental note to invest in a second one. It was because of this, she decided to keep her makeup simpler than she originally planned. The last thing she wanted was to get to prom late, and at this rate something elaborate would take ages!
Laure didn't have a date this year, not even an unknown one like Ursula. It had been a year since she'd dated anyone and she didn't even know how to go about trying to ask someone out. Her last relationship had also not ended in the best of ways. The breakup had been especially hard on Laure and shattered her confidence for quite some time. Jillian, her ex, hadn't wanted to go any where with her, or even tell any of their friends. At one point, she had even suggested an open relationship, which really should have been a warning sign, but Laure hadn't taken it as one. Eventually, Jillian had broken up with her through a text message and then proceeded to date some brainless football player afterwards. Thankfully, it wasn't long after that that Laure'd flunked out and had to switch to this boarding school.

Otheo hadn't been wandering long before he saw the art room door gaping open. He raised a brow and walked over to investigate. A smirk played across his face when he spotted Leo. He chose to simply lean against the doorframe for a few moments, just to watch the boy before finally clearing his throat. "Not comin' to prom 'den?~"

Weisis had booted up her laptop and slipped in her copy of It's a Wonderful Life. This would be the first time she'd watched the movie since her brother died. She expected it would be absolutely brutal, but she needed to do this. This is what she and Luca had done every year on his birth and she felt as if breaking the tradition would some how disappoint him. She took a deep breath and clicked play on the DVD menu.

"Whatever... It doesn't matter." He shoved his hands in his pockets. "Maybe I'll just skip out on this entire thing and go to the mall or something. This dance is entirely pointless any way. It's a damn money grab."

She frowned. "You should go..." She said softly. "Come with me and Ursula. You'll have fun, I promise..."

"I don't like Ursula... I feel like I'm going to get a STD just standing next to her"
