Republic City RP

Because I've wanted to do an Avatar RP for AGES. Any way :3 after being addicted to Korra, I've been itching to do something in Republic city, so here it is ^^

Rules:
-no canon characters. There can be MENTION of them (ex: "oh yeah... I heard the Avatar was in town" or "man, did you catch the Fire Ferrets last match? It was killer!")

-no being related to canons. No one is Toph's long lost sister's granddaughter or something alright? xD it's just silly and honestly, it really limits what you can do with your character

-no canonxOC romances

-no godmodding. It's fair to say your character is a bender, but they can't be the most powerful thing ever to walk the earth. It's just Mary sue-ish and not cool. This also means you cannot beat the crap out of other people's characters. You NEED to let other people decide too. One sided rps are no fun.

-watch your spelling and grammar ;D

-anyone can join btw

And this isn't Fanpop, so I think I pointlessly listed these rules xD I'm pretty sure everyone is saavy and the dos and don'ts of RPing xDD

Min: *gets off the tran she was riding, looking wide eyed, carrying a suitcase* I- whoa... I never thought the city would be this big *mutters in awe before moving to cross the road, but is nearly hit by a car that isn't stopping* *yelps and jumps back* oh my! This- this is busier than I thought it would be.

May-Rin: *running around the streets, a small, wild look in her eyes, smiling brightly, has stolen something from her older brother and won't return it xD, running* Catch me if you can, big brother~! >w<

Akio: *running as fast as he can after her xD, arm reached out to grab whatever she stole* Get back here you little runt! I want my stuff back! D<

Min: *manages to get across the road alive, lugging her luggage*

Shady dude: hey little lady, need a hand?

Min: oh! that would be lovely ^^ thank you. *hands him her smaller bag with money and stuff in it like an idiot.

Shady dude: no, thank you *sneers, before snatching it and running off*

Min: Hey! Leaves other suitcase on the side of the road and begins to chase after him* that's mine! I need that!

(>w<;;..Oh gog, you should hear the back story I have for them when they're /both/ the Avatar..;3;

..Oh no, Mr. Shady guy! D: Give Min back her stuff ;3; )

May-Rin: *running and what not xD, giggling like a pathetic idiot, starts singing* You're gonna have to catch me, you're gonna have to catch me~! >w< Can you catch me big brother~? =w= I don't think you can! You're such a slow runner!

Akio: I'm not that slow at running! D< And when I catch you, you're not even going to be able to run! D<

Min: *chasing after him on the verge of tears* stop!

Shady guy: *running, being all shady and stuff xD*

(Okay owo So, Akio was basically going to kill May-Rin when she gets her Water bending down because he's jealous of his little sister and wants to be the Avatar. XD

May-Rin: *running, laughing her ass off until she bumps into the Shady guy, falling over* Oww~! >.<;;

Akio: *stops running when she falls over, face turning from angry to worried*..May-Rin!

Min: *unable to stop, runs into the Shady guy and trips over him, falling* ooof! >,<

Shady guy: *seems to be stunned, laying on the ground xD*

(Min was originally made to live during Aang's time ^^ her father was a general in the Fire Lord's army. Her parents were dry strict and traditional, her mother especially because her father was hardly ever home because of the war. Min always felt like a disappointment because she wasn't a bender, but then came into it late (around the age of ten) she was awful at it and her mother was very hard on her. The other children a the bending school picked at her because she was naive, gullible and entirely awful at bending. So, eventually she had enough and left, trying desperately to hide her firebending when she fled to the earth kingdom. I changed her story a bit now so it would fit with Korra's storyline c: )

(I know D: But it's kinda funny xD; Akio loves his little sister, and would do anything for her safety..but..he'd kill her because he wants more power..*facedesk* xD So bipolar!)

Akio: *running over to where they're all just..laying there xD* May-Rin! May-Rin are you alright! *slows down to a jog, getting over to her*

May-Rin: I'm okay, big brother... X.x *getting up awkardly, looking down at Min and Mr. Shady guy. xD*..I bumped into thoes people .w. *points*

(Oh my gosh~ >3< Your characters always have way more depth to them than mine. xDD But she sounds super cool, and really awesome .w. <3)

Min: *snatching her bag back from the man*

Shady dude: *looks around and grumbles before shoving Min and taking off without the bag.

Min: *stumbles back over, still. clutching the bag, blinking, looks at Akio and May-rin* I'm sorry!

Akio:..*twitches slightly,.grabbing on to May-Rin's shoulder, starting at Min*...It's okay..

May-Rin: Y..you're stroooong .w. *what?xD*

(I have a question.. Can your OCs be probenders? NO RELATION TO THE FIRE FERRETS OR ANYTHING, JUST PROBENDERS. xD; Kind of wondering, I've kind of thought of an LoK OC that's a probender.

.. The rules pretty much ruined my ideas of an airbender OC, because being an airbender means being related to Aang. Dang it. ^^

(I think it's more a spiritual teaching than a hereditary thing C: so you could probably get away with being an Airbender ^^ also yes :3 you can be a probender, but I'm pretty sure there isn't an air ending division in it because there's not many)

Min: *still on the ground, clutching her bag, looking kind of scared*

May-Rin:..*waddles over to her, holding out her hand to help her up*Whatcha still doin' on the floor, lady? owo

Min: I-I I'm getting up ^^; I'm just not used to the city. *hesitantly takes her hand, but quickly pulls it back hissing in pain. (she frequently accidentally burn herself, especially her hands and forearms ;3;)

May:!! *quickly pulling get hand away* Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you? DDD: .m. (Poor Min! D: *lolourarmsandhandsmustlookalotalike*)

Min: Oh no! I'm perfectly fine *hiding her hands inside her sleeves* I was just-startled! yes startled ^^; *picks herself off the ground, and dusts herself off* s-sorry about that again... He offered to help me and then took my tout. *gasps, suddenly remembering her other bag was left on the sidewalk when she started to chase the man* Oh no! My other bag! *begins to run pathetically*

Akio: !! *watches her run by, eyes wide*...Hey, wait! *runs after her*

May-Rin: So you're just going to leave me here! D: *running after them*

Min: *doesn't stop until her bag is in view... An old bag lady is trying to take it, but doesn't appear to have the physical strength* Hey! That's mine *runs over and starts a bit of a tug-o-war with it* Let go! *small flame shoots from her fingers of her left hand, scaring the old woman away* *lets out a yelp* I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to D: *gingerly examines her hand to see if there are any new burns*

Akio: *running still, getting there just in time to see the fire coming from her fingers*...You're..a fire bender?

Min: *hiding her hands back in her sleeves* I-no! I don't know what you're talking about *worried look* (she's all paranoid about telling people because she'd rather be a nonbender then made fun of for being a terrible firebender)
