Prom niiiight~

She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it...Bryce thought she was beautiful...even with all these gross scars on her arms and legs. "...Bryce..I..."

"And you still look great. Quite an accomplishment, I must say"

"Well, you mentioned going shopping...~"

He was quiet, but he smiled. And, at length, put his hands on Theo's waist and nodded. "Alright, let's do it. Before I get ahold of myself and change my mind"

"I'm the one who brought it up, though..."

She rolled her eyes, having no idea why she was being so mean to him. He hadn't done anything wrong, but every attempt at conversation felt like he had. " can you just stop?"

"That does sound A LOT better than this~ if we hurry, I mall might still be open... Unless you want to shop else where"

Theo smiled and leaned in to kiss him, before pulling him towards the shower (timeskip? xD)

"Does it matter?... Do we have to talk about it?"

He imagines this is where he was going to be rejected. He looked away again feeling like a cola seal idiot. "Sorry..."

"..Come sit next to me." She patted the empty space next to her. "Please?.."

He looked at her bed for a long time before getting up from the chair stiffly, and gong to sit.

"Alright," He sighed and leaned back in his chair. "Then I'll just wait for Bryce"

"Honestly? I dunno where else we'd go. So, why not?"

"No... I guess not." he cleared his throat yet again and glanced over at Weisis, although he obviously returned his gaze to his oh-so interesting shoes. "Then... What now?"

And when he sat, Damaris scooted closer to him. She didn't know why she did the next thing she did, but she wrapped her arms around his, and rested her head on his shoulder.

He sniffled and hugged her back as gently as he possibly could. Bryce wanted to hug her as tight as possible, but he was so terrified that he might hurt her after her condition the night before.

"You do that then. I'll sit here and wait for him to come scream at me and blame me... Like I assume everyone else will do as well" her voice sounded flat and almost emotionless. This was about the only way she knew to handle this.

"Okay, let's go then." She looked about with a smirk and then walked towards the gym doors.

"I don't know... It's getting late, you don't have to stay" Weisis hated that their conversations were so awkward and felt so forced... All she really wanted was for things to go back the way they were. She wished the physics lab, and the closet, and the whole thing with Felice had never happened.

"...I'm sorry you missed prom because of me.."

"I don't think they'll blame you... It takes more than just something like that to push someone to suicide."

After all the kinkiness in the shower, Leo was exhausted again. Obviously he didn't want to sleep in the tub, so he'd flopped down on Theo's bed and curled up in one of the sheets. He didn't want to run around naked, but he didn't really want to wriggle back into his clothes either, at that point. It was too much effort. So, he just laid there, eyes closed and only half awake.

"... What if I want to?"

"I wasn't going anyway, remember?... I wanted to ask you, but then you were going with Ursula... I was too much of a wimp to ask sooner and then it was too late"

She paused for a moment. "Well, maybe we ought to change first..."

Theo put on a clean pair of boxers for Teagan's sake. He hated when Theo slept, and walked around their dorm naked. Theo didn't really understand why. It wasn't like he hadn't seen man parts before, right? He flopped onto the bed beside Leo and snuggled up against him. "Sleepy?"

"Then you can stay... It wasn't this difficult to make conversation before." Honesty was good right? It had to at least help...

"it's not like it'll stop anyone... Besides, I don't care what they think of me." that was a lie, but if she admitted that to herself, Ursula's self esteem would go straight down the toilet.

Damaris frowned. "I can't believe I didn't notice it before..."

"Good. You shouldn't, because anyone important knows everyone else is wrong"

"It'll only take a second, though. I'll just grab another dress and change my shoes. Do you wanna just meet up after we get changed?"

"Mmm you have no idea~" He smiled and pulled Theo's arms around himself. "I wanna stay..."

"That was before we had to guard everything we say..."

"I don't care what important people think either"

"Sure... I definitely can't walk in the shoes I'm in either."

"Then stay~ I don't think Teagan'll mind if 'e comes back... So long as we're jus' sleepin'"

"I don't know how things are going to change then..."

Bryce looked up at the ceiling, trying to not feel like an awkward idiot. "Maybe you just had better options."

She shook her head. "..I don't think so..." She looked up at him. "Do you really think...I'm beautiful?..and..do you really mean you love me?..Or are you just saying that because you're emotionally unstabled because you pretty much watched me die?" That last part didn't mean to come out so bluntly, but she was sure she didn't care.

"They're only important if you think they are,"

"Alright," she grinned, already heading in the direction of the dorms. "I'm guessing your room is occupied... So meet back at mine? Dorm 37"

"... Does that mean I have to get dressed?" He groaned at the thought. Ugh, he was so tired.

"I think it might get easier if we talk more..."

Laure scrunched up her face "I really hope she's not at it again, but meeting at your dorm's better... Just in case"

"What if it's people like the principle? They're important enough to have me kicked out if they want to... Not that I'd be complaining if they did" What was she kidding? Could she really afford to be kicked out of another school in her senior year?

Theo sat up... "It does~ But, you can wear something of mine if you'd like~"

"that would require one or both of us to actually talk."

"I thought those things before any of... This! Why do you think I was so pissed at you before prom? This-This just..." he ran a hand through his hair and tried to steady his voice. "I don't even know what to say... I was so scared to lose you."

She held on to his arm tighter, and sniffled. "...I think..I love you too.."

He pulled away a bit to look at her, a bit uncertain. His mouth was almost liable to twitch into a smile. He just needed to be sure this is what she wanted and that she wasn't caught up in the moment. "You-you think?"

Damaris thought for a while before nodding. "Yeah...I'm sure..~"

He finally let himself smile and held her close again, stroking her hair. "I really don't know what I would have done if-" Bryce wouldn't finish that sentence. He didn't want to think about that's right now.

She frowned. "..I know, I know, I'm sorry.."

Again, he pulled back to look at her. Almost hesitantly, Bryce brushed her hair back away from her face. He really wanted to kiss her, but he was still a coward for lack of a better term. He wasn't sure how she'd react or whether the time was right.

She placed her hand over his, and waited. When it was clear that Bryce was going to be a whimp and not kiss her first, she went ahead and kissed him first. It was a bit of a struggle, thanks to the tubes, but she was able to do it, anyways.
