Prom niiiight~

Damaris's forwn soon turned into a glare. "Don't be a jerk..."

"I'm not... I'm just not the kind of guy that's gonna sugar coat my opinion"

"Or both. You can be a jerk who doesn't sugar coat opinions."

"You're dating the school hoebag... I'm sorry, but I think it's justified."

"She's not a hoebag!..At least not anymore.."

(... Damaris, correct response would've been ' Omg~ Leik, Bryce, let's totally go to the mall~')

Finally, Helen was off. She'd take her time finding Robbie (who never seemed to be around anymore, anyway), then they'd arrive fashionably late. Together. As friends... Without dates.

Leo smiled and turned around, leaning against the table. He had more than a little crush on his friend, and tried so hard to be 'smooth' around him. "Nah, I'm way too cool for that. I'm gonna stay here and finger paint, cos I'm so hardcore~"

"How do you know? Have you actually gone out and done anything aside from stick your tongues down each other's throats?"

Theo walked into the room with a pout "An' I was gettin' all excited to see you in a tux~"

He shrugged, still grinning, and turned his attention back to preparing the paint pots. "Oh well~ I guess you've got something to look forward to for a while yet"

(..I DON'T CARE I'M GONNA ROCK YOUR BODY ANYWAY, I'M GONNA ROCK YOUR BODY TIL CANADA DAY~)

"Of course we have!"

"Watchin' you paint would be fun too~ 'Specially finger paintin' seein' as you're so good wit' your 'ands~"

"Really? Like what?"

"W-we always walk around the school together, and talk about our day!" That...wasn't entirely true. Ursula usually talked while Damaris listened, but she didn't mind.

"It will be fun! Like I said, finger painting is pretty hardcore." He was fairly certain his paint would be the right color now, so he put all his pots back on a tray, and carried the tray over to a different corner of the room. There, the floor was covered in plastic, and a canvas almost as tall as Leo stood on a stand. Thus far, it was just a spray of pretty colors that he'd splashes on in watercolors. But, finger paints would take this to a whole new, much more personal level. "Too bad you're going to prom," he sighed, ever so melodramatic and obviously teasing. "I guess you just aren't cool enough to finger paint with me~"

"Who says I'm goin'?~" Theo loosened his bow tie and then took off his suit jacket, followed by the actual removal of his bowtie, then he began to unbutton his shirt. He was entirely nonchalant about doing this as if it was perfectly normal for him to strip in a public place.

"Ha yeah... That definitely sounds like dating."

Leo didn't notice at first. He simply grabbed his paint-spattered art shirt and tugged it on over his t-shirt. "Well, you're all gussied up, so why-" his eyes widened as he turned to look back to Theo, then quickly turned away. "why-why are you stripping?! I don't need a nude model YET"

Damaris started getting angry. "How the hell would you know?" she spat.

Theo smirked "So you don't wanna paint me like one of your French girls?~" he continued to unbutton his shirt "Oh relax~ I jus' don't wanna get paint on my tux~"

"I think it's pretty damn obvious that you're being used"

"... Well, I've got an extra paint shirt around here somewhere. Let me go grab it," he finished tugging on his own shirt and started to walk behind the canvas, where he was keeping most of his supplies.

"No don't worry 'bout it... It's a little 'ot in 'ere anyway~" By this point, Theo was standing there in nothing more than socks and boxer briefs.

"I am not being used. You're just..I don't even know. You don't understand."

"Well... Fine." Leo couldn't help but admit, he didn't really mind Theo walking around half naked. "Let me go lock the door, then... God knows what people will think if they walk in on us half naked and covered in paint"

"We might start a few rumors... Not like 'dat's really so terrible~" He walked over and stuck a finger into the blue paint.

"Why would a girl like that ever like you?" It had slipped out before he could think about what he was saying. His eyes widened. He certainly didn't mean that in the way she'd likely think he meant it "No Mari! I didn't mean that-"

"I can't really afford rumors right now. You know that..." He locked up the main doors, but left the back door to the room. It squealed like a pig whenever anyone even tried to open it, so he could always just hide Theo if someone was really so desperate to get in. So, he wandered back over to the canvas and stood at the edge of the plastic. "... So, what're you waiting for? Paint something"

Theo thought for a moment and then his smirk returned. He reached over and put a dot of blue paint at the end of Leo's nose. "there~"

Theo's smirk was contagious, and Leo bent to grab a pot of paint-any random color. "Oh, so that's how it's gonna be? Fine~" He dipped his fingers in, then painted a sloppy smile on Theo's cheek. "Mine's better~"

Damaris stared at him in silent horror. She knew Bryce was..well, for lack of a better word, a major dick sometimes, but she didn't think he would ever say something like that, especially to her. She took a moment to look down at herself, and found that Bryce was right. Why would a girl like Ursula ever go out with a girl like...Damaris? Ursula was skinny, and beautiful, and tall, and elegant. And Damaris was...not. She felt a lump in her throat rise and her breathing speed up. 'No, no no, don't cry. Please.' She took a while to look up at him, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. "...I...I can't believe you would say something like that...you're-you're-!" She couldn't even finish her sentence, so she simply walked out of the dorm, and slamed the door loudly behind her before going off to find Ursula.
