So, I'm gonna leave some new characters here, and some old ones .w.;
NEW:

Name: Paris Reed
Type: ???
Age: 19
Gender: Unspecified, no one seems to know. Not even Glinn, usually called either gender, or Ze/Zim/Zir. Often just called he for simplicity.
Bio: Paris was originally supposed to be in the maternity ward with the other 17 babies, but instead, "he" was in with his mother. Glinn had barely affected Paris,though before she left, she felt the need for quick fun when he was brought in by a nurse. But due to time being an issue, it messed up, and Glinn left, not caring for the failure. At first it seemed as if nothing was wrong with him, until his skin turned a light blue, and the nurses thought he was dead, as his pulse was odd. Every heart beat caused a spasm, almost, and it was hard to tell if the baby was well. The nurses told the mother that the baby was suffering odd symptoms they never saw, and took him in to a higher hospital for testing. It was also odd to tell in appearance what gender he was, even with him naked. His genitals were not male,female, or even hermaphroditic. But he had them.
As he grew up, his "condition" got worse, and the hospital could not even point to what it was. He twitched, and spasmed constantly, code like "data" rubbing off in light blue auras everytime it happened. It was almost as if he was a glitch. Luckily, the hospital found that seizure medicine helped him, and after a few months of testing ,they sent him out to the real world at 19 with a wrist band so he could find the hospital again if he needed it. The first thing he wanted to do was see his parents, though the hospital warned that the weren't around anymore. while not growing aroun a lot of people, Paris was really intelligent, and knew death well. Disheartened, he stayed in a hospital funded appartment, often in the dark as he caused everything electiral to short out and break. He blocked all cell singals around him, caused telvisions to show only static, blocked radio signal, and caused cars and even planes to stop dead in their tracks. The only things he could be around electrical was the back up generators at the hospital. It was hard for him to be able to do anything in this moderen world, and he often liked to go outside on long walks to places not bothered by civilization. He was often called a nuisance, and a failure. The hospital was the only thing there for him. When Glinn kidnapped the rest of them, she forgot that Paris had been there, and while the others were taken, he was spared.
Personality: Paris is very mild, and uneducated when it comes to electronics, though very intelligent with everything else. He knows HOW electronics work, though he's never been able to use them. When he spasms, his personality jumbles for up to 30 seconds afterwards.


Name: Geold Swan, he believes sirnames are that of original species, and often gets appalled when no one’s last name is “human”

Age: Around 17

Bio: Geold used to feel empathy for every living thing, he was the one swan to avoid eating most creatures in the lake, as he felt he was harming them. And when he saw that the mated pair in the lake threw an egg out for showing bad signs, he took it unto himself to care for the egg, even if it may not hatch. However, to his surprise, it did, but the parents were right, in the eyes of the others, to throw it out. The gosling was born with no hip socket, therefor, no left leg. The others thought it was horrendous, but Geold didn’t care. He was a beautiful gosling in his eyes, and he named him Harvey. The two didn’t leave each other’s side, until the night Geold looks back on most. The catfish in the lake had grown huge, fat and spoiled from visitors throwing bait and bread to help fishing, and they found themselves hungry after the lake resort had closed. The injured gosling, now maybe a few months old, looked especially appetizing. Geold only remembered hearing Harvey’s squeaking, and feeling a pain in his wings as the obese fish slammed against him, causing him to lose his footing where he slept, and fall to the ground. A fall like that generally wouldn’t injure such a bird, though due to certain malnourishments, from lacking to eat meat, he wasn’t the strongest.
When Geold woke, he felt strange, and shocked to see a strange man standing over him with strange lights. He didn’t stay awake long enough to grasp what was happening, blacking out once more.
Waking for good, he realized something was wrong. He could understand the man talking to him, and looking at himself, he saw an almost shared image with him.
It took a lot of explaining to calm him down. The man had seen him injured, and he couldn’t leave any animal like that, not to mention, this man had explained how dreadfully lonely he was. Geold didn’t really care, nor realize that the fact the man could change his species was not normal. He realized Harvey was dead with the events of that night, and slowly, he started to break. He blamed the other swans, not realizing who really did it, and started hating not only his species, but everything. The man who had saved him, and offered him a home at the abandoned resort in which his family had owned at one point, was nothing but a mere acquaintance to him. He started to separate himself from everything. He almost never left his house, except to maybe swim in moments of sheer boredom or depression. Not like he could leave, the man had warned him he couldn’t long ago, not until he perfected whatever he did to Geold. He didn’t really listen. It was nothing to him. He just wanted to be alone.

Personality: Geold is cold, and harsh to most outsiders, bitterly sarcastic and just plain snarky, however, if someone bothers him enough, he does eventually melt, so to say. His bitterness turns into awkwardness, and lack of knowledge of the world, as he had never left the lake. Derex, the man, only visits once a month anymore, and mainly; it’s just to give Geold fresh groceries.

Relationship status: Single, however, in the back of his mind, he’s still waiting for the “life time mate” all Swans find themselves needing. Gender is no issue to him, though he feels Female is more natural, while male is more appealing.

Extras: Harvey is actually still alive, though Geold has never really looked. He finds it too depressing to think of.
He also really wants a family, it being his biggest goal.
Geold eats more fish and seafood now than he did as a swan.


Name: Chivery Harris Smiley


Age: 22

Bio: He was born into the last batch of 7 babies, gifted with mixed abilities. However, he was born normal, all except for his legs not being formed in the womb, leaving him with stumps past his thighs up until he was 13, when his father had decided to teach him metalworking, as he was skilled in the trait he took up as a hobby. Chiverly was a natural; he took to the simple hobby as if it was his life. One day in the garage, he was alone, his father went to get supper, and Chiverly stayed behind because he felt something odd in the metal that day. He continues to meld the pieces, until curiosity took place, and he stopped, grabbing an untouched piece, and concentrating. He went to turn it over, but with his touch, the thick metal piece moved like nothing but a sheet of paper, like it does under the flame. Shocked, he explored on this ability, bending the metal to his will until he felt he was done. For that first experiment, he made the first idea to his self made mechanical legs. He worked for months in secret, improving the idea, and testing it, before making the change permanent, melding them to his flesh. It seemed painful, but it really only hurt as much as a few shots. He knew he was special, though he didn’t find his other ability until later. His parents were shocked when they saw him showing his new legs proudly, his father more proud than he had ever been. His own son did this! He was ecstatic.
The praise Chiverly got only lasted a few more weeks, and he felt a little disappointed, but not too worried, he could walk, and he loved it. But something felt missing. He could walk, but when he saw the birds flying past his window, he felt a pang of envy in his chest. Then his next invention came to mind.
He had moved into a small apartment while attending college for metal working after turning 18, and spent every free night making his cherished new idea. It took months, and many failed tried, but finally, he had made them, a pair of shiny, new steel wings. They wouldn’t seem to work for anyone but him, though that didn’t bother him. He knew how they worked. He figured how to move the joints with his abilities, and he flew as much as he could. He’d often sneak off to places that no one would see him, putting on his gear, and soaring freely until he snapped back into reality and had to go back to the city.

However, soon after his 19th birthday, he had woken up in a cell. The other six gifted babies were there as well, forced to fight eachother until they won their promised freedom. However, it never came. One died, and shortly after, the fights grew old, and the teenagers, including Chiverly were locked up in a secluded area of the ex-prison they woke to months back. They were hidden away, and very neglected, until they’d ever be needed again. Their keepers had an odd sense of humor, keeping the crowd favorites in rooms where their sanity would be challenged, sadly, Chiverly being one of them. He was kept in a dark, empty room, not windows, no lights, and nothing but an array of old, constantly ticking clocks. He was chained with tight leather straps. He had broken them many times while still sane, until he realized it’d never work and gave up. As the years went by, his sanity did to. The sweet, pridefiled whimsical boy he was nothing like what he was not. He had sloppily cut hair, from when his keepers had to cut it when it got too mangy to handle. His hair and eyes had been struck almost colorless from the lack of light he had gotten all those years, though he had been able to see, adapting to see clearly in the darkness of his cell. He had taken up Morse code in his second year of college as an interesting hobby, but now, he uses it as his only form of communication. His speech only consists of clicking, or ticking sounds, from the years of solitude with nothing but clocks. He also taps his wings, and fingers against the wall in the code to speak as well.

Brucie:
I lost her bio, but Brucie is a "dame" from the 40's, born in 1928, and went missing in 1948. She basically goes with Dannie's Timelord OC, but if need be, I will find a reason for why she is here in other rps. She talks with very old fashion lingo, and gets excited over little things she finds futuristic. She is also missing a leg, from when she served as a nurse during WWII. She's very proud of herself, and doesn't usually back down from things like the girly stereo type.

Melody:
I lost her bio too, but she's a massive dork. She lives with her two lesbian mothers, though it generally makes her feel looked down upon by society. She loves her mothers, and doesn't seem to mind that she's a "test tube baby", though she gets harassed a lot for it. She's generally not social, and really talks to her cat as a friend. In public, she hides in oversized sweaters to avoid human contact, and when she does talk, she is the epitome of social awkwardness.

Old:
So,you all pretty much know Daniel, formerly "Buddy". He hasn't really changed,except for that he is much calmer now,and a little bit of a dork. He usually doesn't interfere with much, but when he sees something wrong, he knows to stop it, and has the flaw of risking everything for total strangers.

Sam is the creepy, yet somehow lovable owner of the circus full of mutants. He keeps his eyes open, and welcomes those with social and physical.."Issues" with open arms. He has quite a few flaws, though his pride wont let him admit any of them. He's quick to love, and also, quick to anger, and doesn't let people in easily. His trust is an easy thing to break, and terrible to regain.

Laure Jeanette Fleur Blanchett: Laure is 17 and rather upbeat. She's ambitious, but fairly flaky and doesn't stand by one idea for long. She's a people person and enjoys socializing. She loves parties, although, she is a bit naive to how the real world works and how people may react in certain situations. This is likely because she's lived a sheltered, posh life. Everything she's wanted has always been handed to her. Some may label her dumb upon first meeting her, which is something she is fairly insecure about. She's always had issues paying attention in school and getting good grades. She tries to remain optimistic however... She'll sweep things under the rug until they get far too out of hand. As was the case when she finally flunked out of private school. Public school has been an interesting experience for her. It was a culture shock to say the least.



Meera James: (I've been working on her character a bit and decided to change her last name ^^; Sonozaki is pretty specific to Higurashi xD and I've decided that her dad's white, so he likely would not have a Japanese last name) Meera is a confident, outgoing and rather proud 16 year old. She's willing to chat virtually anyone up. She's musical and enjoys writing songs and playing an acoustic guitar. She usually thinks her songs are a lot deeper than they actually are. Meera's nosy and a bit of a gossip, as well as a self proclaimed therapist. She likes a 'project' and she has a tendency to nag someone to try and get them to open up to her. She can be sweet, but is often quite manipulative. She's able to cry on command, which she uses to her advantage whenever she gets in a difficult situation.

Jayden James: Jayden is Meera's twin brother and is quite different from her (as cliche as that is for twins...). Although, he isn't exactly shy, he's fairly quiet and prefers to keep to himself. People are more effort than they're worth and any friendship he'd tried to form had ended poorly for him, as well as his first and only relationship. That might explain his facial piercings and wild hair. They're an attempt to make people avoid him. He's always had a relatively short fuse and snaps fairly easily, but he's been taking anger management classes to make sure things do not get out of hand. That will go out the window however with anything involving Meera. He takes the protective brother thing a tad bit too seriously. She's the only one he's remotely close to now a days (which Meera takes advantage of if anyone upsets them. She'll sick 'Denny' on them). Jayden enjoys running a lot. He feels a good deal of freedom whilst doing it and it always gives him time to think. It's his only consistent hobby next to guitar Hero... Which he's freakishly good at.

Bryce Finley O'Connor-Allerd: For lack of a better term, Bryce is an asshole. He truly enjoys mocking and belittling others, his cousin Kurt in particular. Maybe it gives him a feeling of superiority or maybe it just makes up for the attention that he doesn't get at home, it's something he does frequently. At home his older brother is the center of attention... Which is odd considering the man doesn't even live at home any more. Bryce has always been in his brother's shadow and his parents continually remind him that his grades, activities, and general attitude are not at the level his brother's are. He's given up ever trying to be good enough and no longer even tries. Bryce has a thing for fancy cars, but unfortunately is a horrible driver and would likely total one if he ever got it. There are two people in the world Bryce genuinely cares about and they're his girlfriend Damaris who is the only person he can really confide in and doesn't act out around. The other person being Kurt. Despite constantly treating the boy like crap he's the only one allowed to treat him like crap. If someone else is mean to him, god help you...

Lychee Macadamia
Looks: Lychee is very tall, tanned, and muscular. I'd put him at about 6'7", and say he's muscular enough to be scary when mad. He has blond hair that's grown just a bit too long, and has been bleached from long days in the sun. His expressions are more adorable than anything, and his body language is reminiscent of a small boy. He has blue eyes, and cannot grow any facial hair.

• Lychee grew up on an island, in a small farming community. He and the people of his village speak a language that sounds suspiciously like German, and seemed to have little to no contact with people away from the island
  
  
• Much like an Amish community, they allow their children to leave the community for a short time (a year, in this case) to experience life in the 'outside world', although they must return after a year, or they will not be allowed back. Lychee was just beginning his year.
  
  
• His brother, Richard (Dixy, a drag queen who had been waiting all his life to 'escape' the island), is his temporary guardian. Lychee is very simple, and very childlike
  His year is nearly up, and he plans to return home as soon as possible
  
  
• Although no one can be sure, it is believed that Lychee was kicked in the head by a goat as a childhood. Then again, he may just be stupid...
  
  
• When Lychee was a boy, and his mother was trying to explain their religion to him, the only way he could grasp the concept of angels and devils was to compare them to animals. Goats-Lychee's favorite animals-represented angels, and yaks-disruptive animals that scared Lychee to no end, and were the subject of many horrible legends on his island-represented devils
  
  
• When Lychee was six, one of his family's goats had babies. Lychee grew particularly fond of one of those babies, and named him 'Fido' (he pronounces it 'Fee-dough'). Fido has been with Lychee ever since, although he seems to be nearing the end of his life. Fido seems to be more intelligent than Lychee, himself, and has the personality of a grumpy old man

Manda Brooks
Looks: Manda is tall and thin, although she has huge hips, and enough muscle to be on the swim team (although she has no interest in competitive swimming). She has naturally black hair, although she gets blue highlights constantly, and blue eyes. She doesn't tan well, despite living on a beach, so she's fairly pale. Manda has a big mouth and always seems to be smirking.

• Manda is a slut. Straight up.
  
  
• She obsessively adores her father, and has looked up to him for all of her life. 'Daddy issues' is a huge understatement.
  
  
• Manda hopes to someday be an actress, and has spent all of her life preparing for her time in the limelight. She has the money, looks, and talent to accomplish her goal, but show business is a bitch.
  
  
• Manda always gets her way, but she works for it, so she isn't so much spoiled as determined. But, a lot of the work she does is on her knees
  
  
• She had a girlfriend once, and was deeply in love with her. But, she was so used to having sex with everyone that she moved too fast for her girlfriend (Roberta) and the girl freaked out. That was the only time Manda was dumped, and was her first/last serious relationship

Mckenzie "Ken" Daniels - Ken is a fairly outgoing kind of guy, he tends to get along with pretty much everyone and loves meeting new people. He used to be a bit of a party animal when first starting college, but, as of late, has started to take his college work more seriously and the party animal inside of him has died down. However, every so often his best friend James persuades him into taking a break and the party animal in him resurfaces. When he's out at parties and whatnot, he also becomes a bit of a flirt. He's really passionate about basketball, he plays for two different teams - one in college and one out of college - and he hopes to one day become a professional basketball player. Ken is bisexual and has had his fair share of both boyfriends and girlfirends and despite none of his past relationships really working out, he somehow always manages to end them on good terms.

Zackary Treverson - Despite his age, Zackary acts like your generic 7 year old boy - he's childish, hyper and has the biggest imagination around. He loves playing pirates, superheroes, secret agents etc. and spends most of his time doing so with his friends, some of which are actual 7 year olds and some who are just like him. Zackary always looks on the bright side of things; he sees good in even the bitterest of people, never takes anything to heart and is gifted when it comes to putting a good spin on a situation. He also loves animals - at home he keeps a two parrots named Squawks and Amber, a dog called Benjy and a small squirrel that he calls Mr. Squirrelson.

Chadwick Englebert - Chadwick was raised in a mansion on the outskirts of London as the only child of his two extremely wealthy parents - his father Jenson, a lawyer, and his mother Lauretta, a very successful author. He was very spoiled as a child which has lead him to become selfish, snobby and sometimes a bit judgemental. Now, at 17 years old, he hasn't changed a bit. Chadwick was home schooled by one of the best tutor's money could buy and is very intelligent - he puts this intelligence to use during his spare time, solving riddles and puzzles for fun. The only person he considers to be his friend is his butler, Chonsey, because he believes that he is the only person he knows that can carry out an intelligent conversation. Chadwick has little to no patience with those who do not match his intellect and is often very sarcastic and unfriendly towards them.

Name: Eliazar Jaymes Crooke

Age: 18

Bio: Eli had grown up in a relatively good family, despite not growing up with a father, as he had left after his mother had gotten pregnant. Though Eli missed his father, it was something that didn’t haunt him. However, what did haunt him, was something actually good in his eyes. One summer, when he was about one or two, Eli had woken up covered in ants and bites because of an infestation. While his mother had initially freaked out, and taken him to the ER for fear they hurt him, Eli never let that go. The look of the ants as they crawled up his nose to look in his eyes. Eli’s mother had thought he let go of this mishap, but it stuck, and from when he was little, he knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to see the world, but not just that. What made it up. He didn’t know the word, but he wanted to be a microbiologist, and inspect cells, bugs, and parasites; everything that makes up our world as it is. As he grew older, the more fascinated he became with insects, and microorganisms. He keeps many terrariums of insects, some “sea monkeys”, tardigrades(water bears), petri dishes full of various, simple cells, and the like in his room, making his mother worry about him.
When it comes to social interactions, he’s not as successful. He compares his studies to the real world, and attempts to give everyone a chance. He believes in the sang his mother always told him when he was younger. “Incluso la rosa muerta tiene una belleza oculta bajo.” Roughly translating to “Even the dead rose has a secret beauty under” Something he lived by, as he truly thinks everyone has good in them. Even when proven wrong. He thinks that every person relates to a cell, or an insect, or any of his specimens, and loses interest from others when he explains this. When he isn’t being a goofy nerd, he’s still being a dork. Other than interest in the smaller organisms of life, he really enjoys board games, and “playing” with children’s toys. Though his idea of playing is taking them apart, and melding them together with other pieces. All except that of his other collections, mainly consisting of geeky collectibles and toys, and then of pony figurines and toys. His mother has past the idea that this was all just a phase, and full out worries about him, as her son not only collects live insects and cells, but also pony toys, and tears children’s toys apart. While his mother is convinced he’s becoming insane, it’s really just the reality that Eli is odd.

Personality: Eli, like said before, is odd. He considers himself unique, and claims that people just don’t understand him. He’s incredibly friendly, and lacks social control, as when he tries to make a friend, it usually flies past him that they generally lack any interest in him until they walk away. He’s awkward, though he just doesn't seem to notice it. He usually weirds those around him out, from nothing more than his appearance, and then when he opens his mouth, it’s almost an immediate deal breaker. He carries a small closed container in his jacket pocket containing about three water bears and moss for them, along with a seeing glass to look as them when he’s bored or lonely. He had names for the three he carries, though they always change, and he often talks to them in public, making people wonder what’s wrong with him. He’s very straight forward, and asks inappropriate questions without realizing. All in all, he’s a very sweet guy, who just isn't all there.
He hopes to be either a Microbiologist one day, or a Micro photographer. In his spare time, he takes pictures of not only his specimens, but also things outside, with a special camera set up.
Extras: He has a stuffed cat named Schrödinger, and he can't sleep without it. He is great with sculpting for "science", but fails hilariously when drawing. Still, he posts what he draws around his room like a child because it makes him laugh. He never leaves his house without his camera.

Name: Cora Belle Delice Groundsel

Age: 17

Bio: Cora Belle had grown up in Melborne, Australia, most of her life. At age 13,her and her family had moved, due to her father’s job in the Travel Agency. There was more opportunity in the US for his career, and after some convincing, he had finally moved the family. Cora had two brothers, Zayland and Greyson, who met untimely, and similar fates shortly after moving. Zayland had disappeared just days after settling into the US, being only 15 at the time. After a year of constantly searching and gathering search parties, the family finally gave up, and accepted their lost, holding a funeral service without the body in his memory. This was hard for Cora, trying to settle in to a place that already separated her family. Greyson, how ever, was still there for her… he always had been. Until one night, him and his buddies went out into the woods to pull some prank on a poor kid. Only his buddies returned, covered in blood, babbling about how the kid had run into traffic after being scared out of his mind, and that Greyson took it to himself to help him, and wasn’t seen after. Both him and the boy were listed missing and deceased after a search that stayed unfulfilled for almost a year. Greyson had had it rough, and his parents never seemed to realize. It had only been Cora, but now she was all alone. She had already started to hate America, but after Greyson had “died”, her hatred was real. Without Grey to comfort her, her night terrors she had gotten when she was little returned, worse than before, and she had started to acquire some fears. Mainly, claustrophobia. She couldn’t stand being indoors, or in any tight space. Every night, she slept in Grey’s old bed, which was considerably bigger than hers. She shut herself off from her parents, and friends. She had trusted at least three friends more than anyone, which were the only people she seemed to confide in. At the age of 15,her mother couldn’t take the guilt of losing two children, and left, leaving Cora with her mother.
Though in the core she seems like a sad, miserable and lonely person, she really just misses her brothers, and home. At the age of 17, now, she has accepted that she is alone, and tries to make the best of it. While deep down, she’s still nothing but a broken heart, she puts on a happy face, and actually enjoys most of the day, and especially when she’s outside with her friends. But when she’s alone at night, in his bed, that’s when it’s the hardest. She has severe insomnia and many sleeping pills, which she has thought of using, but decided against it many times, because of the thought of disappointing her brothers and friends. With age, her depression has lightened up, but her fears have gotten worse. In classrooms, cars, tents, even just rooms and indoors in general, she gets restless, and finicky, and ends up kicking seats to show how displeased and uncomfortable she is, latching on to the nearest person she’s comfortable with, rocking back and forth, and tapping her fingers together.
With her fears aside, she had finally started to like America, being particularly fond of the food. Her weight doesn’t actually really occur to her, unless she’s around a lot of girls and women who are smaller than her. Other than that, she’s alright in her own skin. Her only doubt of her self image is how much she likes to eat, and feels ashamed of it when people shove it in her face. But she remembers how much Greyson told her how pretty she was, even if he was the only one who had said, or thought such things, and keeps going.

Personality: Cora is not the most people friendly person, but she isn’t one to hoard herself in her room. She prefers to be outside, with choice friends, or a good book, and she really likes flowers. Flowers are the one thing, that even in cramped rooms, calm her down because they remind her of her brother. She doesn’t believe her brother, or at least Greyson, is dead, because of a present she had found at her door on her 17th birthday, a colorful flower crown like headband which she now always wears. It was signed by him with a full note, and she knows he’s out there, despite people telling her that it was her father trying to cheer her up in the wrong ways. While she’s playful and smiles a lot when she’s relaxed, she gets really grumpy and hissy while held inside.

Extras: She will calm down from a full out panic attack if a nice, healthy vase or pot of flowers is set in front of her. She’s fond of staying in trees, and hopes one day, her brother will be alright with coming back, wherever he is. She’s not fond of cats, but cats really like her. She has a thick Australian accent, and is lactose intolerant, so she loves to eat, but still can’t eat a lot of food without her tablets. She can’t run, but climbing trees is almost a second nature to her.

Helen Marie Taylor
Helen is a very clever woman. Ambitious, intelligent, and hard working (when it comes to an activity that's more mental than physical, at least), she hopes to find a career in politics. While she builds up her reputation and the proper funds, however, she's working towards a few business degrees that will help her take over her father's many businesses later in life.

Helen is petite. She's just barely 4'11", and weighs a little over 100lbs. She's fine boned, lean, and pale, with hardly any muscle. Let me be clear that she is not anorexic! Helen is just an incredibly tiny and adorable woman. She also has very pale skin, an adorably tiny nose, dark brown eyes, full lips, and a slightly higher than normal hairline.
Her hairline gives her the appearance of a larger forehead, which she desperately tries to hide with bangs. Her hair is blue-black, and very curly. In the mornings, it takes her an hour to tame it down into manageable waves.
Helen makes it a point to take very good care of herself, although this is mostly achieved via diet and hygiene, as she is very weak physically. In particular, she spends several hours a week on her nails, skincare, scalp treatments, and various other beauty tricks. It must do the trick, because she's considered a very pretty woman.

Salvatore is a good boy-really. He was raised in a loving-but poor-Catholic family, and he is very close to his family members. In particular, he is close to his mother and his younger brother, Leon. Name: Jane Leah Occum

Nickname: Weisis

Reason for name: It’s her grandmother’s maiden name. As Weisis is close to her grandmother and spent a lot of time with her in her youth. To the Mi’Kmaq people, elders are extremely well respected and important; Weisis chose
something to honor her grandmother. She insists on being called this as she hates being called Jane.

Hank Reid Occum: Hank is a tech aid and software developer. He worked freelance for years, but when money became tighter, he took a job as IT support for a local college. He was born and raised on the Bear River reserve.

Janet Theresa Occum: Janet is a dental hygienist. She’s had this occupation since she finished school. She worked at the same dental office for seven years until she was offered a job elsewhere. She accepted it and the family moved. Janet was born and raised on the Bear River Reserve as well.

Luca Alex Occum: Luca, or Luc is Weisis’ younger brother. There is eight years between them, but despite this, they're very close.

Relationship with family:

Weisis is very close to her family, this mostly consists of her mother, father, grandmother and brother. Her parents have no living siblings. Weisis has no first cousins.

Her relationship with her parents became rocky in her teens after her younger brother passed away. She felt that they were trying to erase him by moving out of their hometown, selling his things, and not speaking about him. She began to act out and do things against her parents’ wishes.
Eventually, they made Weisis sit down and talk to them, and a counselor. The family was able to work things out, and it helped greatly with her pent up grief and anger. She was able to become close to her parents again.

Childhood trauma: Her biggest childhood trauma would likely be the diagnosis (he was diagnosed at age four, was cancer free until age seven) and general death of her younger brother, Luca. Her brother’s initial illness (leukaemia) caused her to grow up much more quickly than she would have. Because they didn’t live close to the nearest hospital, Weisis would usually have to stay behind while one or both of her parents took him to the hospital in the city.

Children of his/her own?: Not currently, but Salvatore and Weisis do plan on having children.

Height: Weisis is about 5’3.5 feet tall, but she will argue relentlessly that she is closer to 5’4.

Hair color: Her hair is a dark brown, almost black. It’s thick and straight for the most part.

Usual hair style: Her hair is very long; it goes to about the bow of her back. The style she wears it in will vary on the day. Sometimes she will leave it down. These are the days where she actually intends on brushing it out to look presentable. Other days, she’ll get fed up and throw it into a messy bun. The latter tends to be more common.

Eye color: Her eyes are a colour close to mahogany albeit a tad bit less red.

Style of dress/typical outfit(s): In her teens, she chose a more rebellious appearance, complete with facial piercings, boots that were ridiculously too big for her size six feet, and an old leather jacket. Aside from that, she had a fondness for baggier tank tops, skirts and striped stockings.
Health (is this person usually sick? or very resilient?): Although she doesn’t seem to be sick often, Weisis seems to be fairly accident prone. She wouldn’t really be described as clumsy, but she does seem to have misfortune, cutting herself when chopping vegetables, tripping over her oversized shoes, etc.

Grooming (does she/he wear makeup? shower daily? wear only clean clothes? pluck her eyebrows?): She does wear a moderate amount of makeup. Usually just mascara, eyeliner upon occasion. She plucks her eyebrows when needed, and showers/performs other hygiene necessities daily.

Jewelry? Tattoos? Piercings?: Weisis has her ears pierced with few holes (She lets two of which grow over once she reaches her twenties.) She has a nose ring on the left side of her nose, as well as an eyebrow ring on the same side of her face. On the right side of her face, she has a Monroe piercing. (she has removed all of these by the time she reaches her twenties.) She also has a belly button ring that she’s particularly fond of. As for tattoos, she has intricate, flower like swirls that go from her wrists, to the tops of her hands. It was originally a Henna design she’d received at a festival, but she liked it so much, she had a tattoo artist fill in the pattern.

Level of education: presently, she is a grade eleven student. In the future, she has her MD and is working as an intern resident at the city’s hospital after she was honorably discharged from military service.

Level of self-esteem: This varies depending on the aspect of the character. Weisis is very confident in her intellect and at some points may come across as having a bit of a superiority complex because of it. Physically however, Weisis is far from confident. She’s very self-conscious about her body and was mocked in high school because of her figure… Or lack thereof. She’s now pretty much terrified to cut her hair off because she worries she’ll look masculine. It’s also created issues in her present relationship. On a few occasions she’s gotten bitterly jealous of some of Salvatore’s female friends because she’s convinced herself that they’re better looking than herself and Sally might enjoy their company more.

As result, the boy needed several stitches and Weisis was absolutely mortified.

Story of loss of virginity (if any—if not, how does he/she want it to happen, if at all?): She lost her virginity to her husband, Salvatore. It was a while after they’d been married because neither of them really had any sudden urge to do so prior. They only chose to when they decided they wanted a baby. It was awkward and painful, and Weisis might have cried after she thought Sally was asleep. The following week after the deed was done, both halves of the couple were awkward and generally avoided one another.

A social person? (popular, loner, some close friends, makes friends and then quickly drops them): Weisis is not shy, but she’s not exceptionally well with dealing with people either. She has a tendency to be bossy and want her own way or no way. She does have a few friends though, and is close to her family.

VOCATION:

Profession: She dreams of becoming a surgeon, although she is unsure of which variety as of yet. She originally wanted to be an oncologist, but is now not entirely sure because other fields have also peaked her interest.

Past occupations: in her teens Weisis worked at a juice and smoothie bar called Booster Blend. She was a field doctor in the military until she was honorably discharged after being shot whilst on a tour overseas.

Phobias: Weisis has a severe phobia of heights. She gets very apprehensive when forced to fly or simply being near the edge of a balcony because of this. She also has an irrational fear of most poultry. She’s not even sure where it comes from, but animals such as chickens, turkey, geese, and pheasants just creep her out immensely.

Name:  Jack Archibald De Palma

Nickname: ‘Jacky’

Reason for name: It’s pretty self-explanatory honestly, although, he only allows his family to call him this. He gets embarrassed if they address him as Jacky in public, or in front of his friends.

Jim Gaetano De Palma:  Jim works security for a storage facility. He’s worked there for over fifteen years, and complains about it often. He has yet to leave however. Jim is also a local little league baseball coach and avid Red Sox fan.

Rita Ornella De Palma: Rita is a beautician and hair stylist and works out of the De Palma family home.  Throughout the day, various customers come and go from the house, bringing plenty of gossip with them that Rita quickly eats up.

: Monica Francine Vasquez-De Palma Monica is Jack’s eldest sister. She is happily married with a baby on the way. Although she no longer lives at home, she still visits her parents on almost daily basis.
Tiffany Rachel De Palma:  Tiffany is Jack’s elder sister and the middle child in the family. She’s currently attending university, but still living at home simply because it is a more stable financial situation for her.
Relationship with family:

Jack’s family is relatively close, although he occasionally bickers with his sisters, primarily Tiffany.  Most of the time however, it is simply playful banter between Monica, Tiffany, and Jack. He’s a bit protective of his sisters, Tiffany more so, as Monica is already married. He has a habit of screening Tiff’s boyfriends and carrying around a bat casually upon their visits. It is a running joke between Jack and his father to see who can scare the piss out of the poor boy faster.  They keep a tally.

Jack has a close relationship with his father and they do a lot of things together. They attend Red Sox games when they can afford it, and watch from home when they can’t. Jack also helps Jim coach little league ball. Although they spend a good deal of time together, neither man is very good at expressing their feelings to one another and barely shows affection. Despite this, there are things Jack would very much like to speak to his father about, and sometimes he is able to work up the courage to try. His attempts usually end up in vain unfortunately. His dad shuts down and will change the subject, or make an excuse to leave the room. Jack sincerely hopes that one day they'll be able to work through this issue.
Jack’s relationship with his mother is fairly simple. She showers him with affection and pinches his cheeks, and he moans about it constantly. He finds said treatment embarrassing, but he does legitimately love his mother. She has a tendency to guilt trip Jack into doing things, and guilts Jack into helping with her clients and doing their hair, which he does begrudgingly. It’s because of this; Jack actually has no knowledge in hair care than he’d ever be willing to admit. Rita also often fusses and worries over her son due to his tendency to pick fights. She is so terrified that he’ll end up picking one with the wrong person and something horrible will happen. It eats Jack up when he comes home scuffed up and has to see his mom cry, so when he does get into a scuffle, he usually comes home very late, hoping that she will be asleep.  She usually is not however.

Childhood trauma: Jack was picked on for most of his school life. He’d regularly get jumped after school, so he learned to be quick on his feet and evade punches. He has seemed to have learned that the best solution to getting rid of bullies is to scare the piss out of them however. He’s done it on a number of occasions, even going so far as threatening his harassers with a baseball bat.  

Children of his/her own?: No, he’s currently too young to think about having children, but Jack does think he’ll want them when he gets older.
